We all walk around in our own little worlds so often that it’s refreshing when someone joins us. We’re all lonely in our little world and when someone pops in to say “Hi” we can show that person all the wonders of our little world. And then you’re indebted to that other person for listening.. and the other person is indebted to you for this new perspective that you just showed. It takes a person with compassion and a sense of empathy to be able to delve into your world. And it takes a person of compassion and a sense of empathy to be able to show their world to others. And both prosper with a sense of community to get rid of that constant edge of loneliness, with a sense of joy from the new things you’ve just discovered that you wouldn’t have seen just by yourself, and with a sense of power in being able to do something for someone else.
